Day 9, 28th – 29th August 2018

(Lesson Plan include)

Today is my first day teaching. Lesson plan is ready, Instructional material is ready, and even though I’m not in good condition, I also have to be prepared. Teacher Joan, Teacher Pam and Teacher Joice gave me a card saying "good luck" and I really appreciated it.

I teach two classes (English and Math) and I'm very grateful that learning runs so well. Students are conducive, organized, and they are very cute! I also feel happy because they are very active.

After finishing teaching, we observed classes. I was quite surprised when I found the first grade to sixth grade stay in school the whole day and I’m more surprised when I found out the teacher was used to 12 hours at school, I thought it just last week because there were many things to do with SEA-Teacher.

I learn a lot from teacher in Phillippines.

Because we didn’t have enough rest from the first day in Philippines, and we were also unfamiliar with the full day schedule at school nor the weather, one by one SEA-Teacher in elementary school sick, even though the worst was me and Septi.

My head was very heavy and my body temperature rises. But remembered my responsibility I forced to keep teaching. Fortunetely, school allowed me to went to dorm sooner. I am very grateful to my dorm friends who looked after me and treated me so well.

Regarding teaching, I continued the material that I delivered yesterday on 29th August, i taught about fraction (Grade 6) and poem (Grade 3) and conducting evaluations. What makes me easily teaching in here is that the children here understand English very well.

You can open the lesson plan for today learning in here!
